Nebrodini grows in the wild only on the island of Sicily, and is a member of the Oyster family of mushrooms.  Called the "Grilling Oyster" in Italy, it is a favorite of chefs and features a deep and buttery umami flavor, that some liken to dry aged ribeye.  This mushroom works very well as a supplement or replacement for beef in stroganoff.
